Just filled up again this morning, and paid $4.12 a gallon. That’s actually about 10 cent higher than normal, seeing how I should have just filled up out outside my neighborhood at $4.03.

A few weeks ago the family took a trip to Florida, prices weren’t “that” bad and nothing out of the ordinary in prices. Except for one stop, we had just hit I-4 and one of the guys that was traveling with us was damn near on empty. So we took the first exit off I-4 (coming off I-95) and there was a BP sitting there. Gas was $4.29 a gallon. This is back in May mind you, I couldn’t imagine the price at that station now. They said they got away with it seeing how they are pretty much the only gas station in the area. Needless to say, my friend ended up paying over 90 bucks to fill his truck.

Me, my CX-7 did pretty good on gas. It might have turbo, but if you lay off the gas, you’ll go pretty far. As for my friend, doing a 100mph at one point, didn’t exactly help him much.
