Unfortunately there isn’t any talking. But there is a comment that suggests the washers are used to help keep vibration down on the heatsink. The x clamp also looks to be the worst offender.
I should have used this stuff on a dead xbox 360 while I was on vacation. But I wasn’t doing any favors during that time.
